My journey in Bhutan's tourism industry began on the trails and in the monasteries, as a licensed local guide. I had spent years guiding travelers through Bhutan's mountains, cultural sites, and remote villages.
Starting my career as a guide allowed me to gain deep, firsthand knowledge of Bhutan's landscapes, traditions, and way of life. Walking alongside travelers from around the world, I learned what truly matters to them: authenticity, safety, cultural understanding, and meaningful experiences. These early years shaped my approach to tourism and inspired me to create a company built on trust, professionalism, and genuine Bhutanese hospitality.
