Our Story

At Jinlab Agro Products, our story is one of passion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to quality. It began with our founder, Kalyan Mahat, who grew up in a rural village in Bhutan and witnessed firsthand the difficulties farmers faced in selling their crops and earning a livelihood.

Motivated to create change, Mahat began researching agricultural practices and technologies to improve crop yields and increase the value of agricultural produce. He soon realized that one of the greatest opportunities lay in producing high-value, organic products for niche markets.

With this realization, Mahat founded Jinlab Agro Products in 2021, with the goal of providing reliable market access for farmers in his community while creating premium, value-added products for both domestic and international markets.

Starting scale, Mahat worked with a small group of farmers, training them about organic farming practices and helping them to transition to organic production. He also began experimenting with different types of crop, looking for those that would be well-studied to the local climate and soil conditions.

As the company grew, Mahat expanded the product range by introducing new products and refining recipes. He also began building strong relationships with retailers and distributors, working to get Jinlab’s products into stores and onto the shelves of consumers.

Today, Jinlab Agro Products is a thriving business, proudly offering a wide range of premium organic products to consumers around the world. Our product range includes high-value organic spice products, and we remain committed to delivering the best possible quality to our customers.

We are dedicated to using locally available and sustainable raw materials in the manufacturing of our products. Our brand is recognized for organic and naturally grown products produced without the use of chemicals and pesticides, free from synthetic flavors and colors, and using preservatives only within permissible limits. We take pride in maintaining the highest quality standards without compromising on production volume.
